INT is an abbreviation of INTERNAL, which stands for an internal release, which means it only gets released to the top sites and not to the public.

That isn’t entirely correct as scene releases are not intended to become public.
It only gets spread if other sites want to have the release.

“An INTERNAL release is available as normal on the groups affiliate sites, but they can’t be traded to other sites without request from the site ops.” source
