ReScene is a mechanism for backing up and restoring the metadata from “scene” released RAR files. That is, if you’ve decided to UnRAR your releases, you have the choice to repack them into their original scene files, so they can be shared or stored more easily.

The system uses a small file called an “SRR” file (Scene Release Reconstruction). Using these files, the program is able to rebuild the original .RAR files and NFOs, SFVs etc. just using the extracted .mkv or scene files.
